Burley Nomad Connection

I never thougt I would own a trailer like the Burley Nomad.

I enjoy cycling and the outdoors, in August 2007, I had the opportunity to go with a group of friends to the Trail of the Coeur d’Alenes.

Part of the allure of this trail is that is has limited access to road traffic. If you want to really enjoy this area, start at either trail head, and bike in.

The Burley Nomad makes it easy to carry everything in with you.

My trikes do not make it easy to use panniers, so for me the decision to use a trailer was an easy one to make. I ride with Radical Design “Pods” that hang on my hardshell seat, however, they are not designed to carry the loads that the Burley Nomad can while on the trail.

I set out looking for a trailer I could use with my Micro, and found the Burley Nomad.

One of the things I like about the Burley Nomad is the connection method. It is forged aluminum and connects to the bicycle via the quick release of the rear wheel.

The connection method that the Burley Nomad uses works really well and it also works very nicely with my small wheeled Micro.

The Burley Nomad has served me well these past few years and it is currently packed with my camping gear, ready to go with me on my next camping excursion.
