Today the temperature was in the low 90′s at 5:00pm, quite warm for a ride.
I choose a lower bpm podcast from PodRunner called “Run in the Sun”, 138 bpm, 69 rpm, 60 minutes.
I’ll admit the the added humidity today made the ride a little harder than usual – I wanted to give up at 45 minutes!
I kept pedalling though, even at a lower gear, until the hour past.
I figure as long as I keep to my hour workout on the trainer, that will translate to better performace on the road. I also have to note that it is ok to take a day off from riding.
