Working with WordPress makes blogging a pleasure. There are many options that make every WordPress blog unique and not look “cookie cutter”. Part of this capability is the use of wordpress templates, and widgets if your template uses them. Take a look at what wprex.com has to offer. With over 6000 templates to choose from you are bound to find one that will fit yours tastes.
When I started http://www.crazytrike.com, I used a free template like the ones found at http://www.wprex.com, as I became more familiar with what could be done with WordPress and templates, I decided to use a “build your own” type framework.

I am attempting to create a landing page that I can redirect visitors to after they watch a mov on my site. I do not want this page to be visible at beginning (and I am totally a WP newbie). What can I do?
Take a look at this link: http://warner-carter.com/blog/making-a-landing-page-for-wordpress/ it gives quite a few ideas. Especially look at the video
