Riding on the training can have it’s challenges, the main one being bordom. Without having a change of scenery, training becomes a mental game as well.
Last night I rode to an older podcast from PodRunner called “Carry the Fire”, 131 bpm, 66 rpm. As mentioned before, for coming weeks, I’ll be staying with the lower RPM podcasts until I’m stronger. Then I’ll start interval training and higher RPM spinning. The goal is to be ready for next year’s Seattle to Portland and perhaps add another century or two between now and then.
