Not bad for my second day of riding. Feeling tired but that is to be expected, it is far easier to loose fitness than it is to gain it back, so, here’s to my journey back into fitness.
They say for something to become a habit, it’ll take a good 21 days of constant doing, 2 days in, I’m still here – lets talk next week.
I rode an hour last night as well as tonight! I really love Pod Runner! I rode to the podcast “Run Deep”, 134 bpm, 67 rpm. Most of the podcasts are full of high tempo music that keeps you going, I’m so glad my wife clued me into this.
Small steps… or should I say pedal strokes?
I also weighed in this morning, coming in at 220.8 lbs. – goodness, can you say “big boy”? I guess this is what a year of not riding will do to you! (Duh!)
Back to “DietPower” and the wisdom of food tracking. I’ve used this program in the past with great results, nothing new here: “eat less, move more”. I reset my goal weight to 175 lbs, if I remain diligent, I should be reach this goal by next April (it really isn’t that far away!), just in time for my 9th Seattle to Portland! (no more couch potato for me!)
