The “big ride” has come and gone, most one day riders are already in Portland or soon to be there. The two day riders will be arriving tomorrow.
My past STP endeavors have been memorable and frankly I do miss the riding, the training, and the rush of speed flying downhills (have I ever mentioned that I have reached speeds over 50 mph on my Micro?).
In past years, I would take a week off after riding the STP, then start back into riding, training for the next year’s double century. Since I have already taken the year off, training starts Monday!
