WordPress recently put out an upgrade, I’m usually apprehensive about jumping on the upgrade bandwagon because of the plug-ins I use.
Decided to take the plunge and upgraded to 3.0 from version 2.9.2, and found that one plug-in failed: Events-Calander
I was able to find a “work around” and my blog is functioning again, I will be thankful when version 7.0 of Events Calander is out.
The next upgrade on the table is the theme I use: Atahualpa
I was using 3.4.6 for a while, and noticed that 3.5.1 is out. Knowing that most of the settings I use are kept in the WordPress database, I upgraded the theme. I also had to make a change to the header.php file to keep my fixed and rotating header logic.
Thankfully, it all works – the front end stuff looks the same, the back end stuff has been upgraded – couldn’t ask for anything better!
