On Again...

After 6 months of being off the chemo, I decided I needed to started back on it again.
Knowing that using a low dose methotrexate regimen is effective in controlling my psoriasis, I’m not so apprehensive about going back on it. Actually taking a break from it isn’t all that bad either.
Psoriasis is not curable and I’ll always have it – knowing that there is a treatment that does make it tolerable is a good thing.
Now to stay positive – I’m going to go ride tonight, even if it is for a half an hour (something is better than nothing). I’ve decided not to ride the Seattle to Portland this year, perhaps 2011, all depends.
My goals for this year:
1) Loose 40 lbs
2) Complete the conversion of my DVD collection to my home server
3) Repair and ready my trikes for the 2011 riding season
4) Ride at least 3000 miles this year will mostly be “self guided” tours around Oregon. Being on the chemo, I do have to be careful of who and what I’m around – don’t need to get sick!
