Since the Seattle to Portland in July, I’ve not been in the mood for riding or much of anything really. August was my trip to New Mexico to visit my daughters, staying with one and going to a wedding reception for the other. Fun times, but a bit draining. It was great seeing my daughters, wished my sons would get over themselves as they decided that they had more important things to do than be at their sister’s reception, the excuse they gave was because I was going. Their loss.
I have photos of my trip, I’ll post them later.
Next week I plan on riding again and repairing the Micro. Goals for next year: Lose the weight I gain over the past few months, training for the Seattle to Portland (love that ride), and perhaps add running to the mix.
The damage to the Micro thankfully isn’t major and I have most of the parts to get it done. I need to straighten the rear derailer hanger, replace the rear derailer, right side shifter, right side “hub caps” and have the front wheels rebuilt. That’s the cost of rolling the Micro during the Seattle to Portland! Such is life!
