It’s been a week since Kim’s visit, so much to take in, so much I look forward to!
Saturday June 27, was Kim’s last full day in Oregon, as she needed to head home on Sunday, two days just isn’t enough time to be with someone you love very much. Especially after being apart for the many years as I have with my children.
2009 is turning into a great year, reconnecting with my kids, finding old friends, finding joy in all the little things in life.
It is interesting, before the start of my day last Saturday, I rode on the trainer for an hour, a flood of emotions over coming me, crying and pedaling at the same time. It’s good to let go once in a while.
We spent the day at the Oregon coast, where my mom grew up, very beautiful and fun place to be together as a family.
We started at the Tillamook Cheese Factory, going through the tour of the factory, really cool!
We also brought our pug, Frankie, her first visit to the beach.
Kim and I had a few moments to talk with each other, to reconnect, to make ammends. I have been praying for this moment, and from my point of view, we had a great time! I’m looking forward to many more great times with our families.
