As far as I understand the way Atahaulpa works, I can make the header image area clickable to the homepage or not. This is a setting in Atahaulpa Theme Options, Header Image, Make Header Image Clickable. Since I'm using Atahualpa's Header Image to display a transparent .png file, it has a Z value that makes it sit "on top" of all the other images you see. When clicked, you are not really clicking on anything that changes, but rather the transparent image, think "windowpane". That’s a good question!
