Never thought I would be having to do a chemo regimen to clear my psoriasis – but it’s come to that with 40% coverage with no end in sight!
The treatment will be with methotrexate, a weekly dose until it starts working. Until such time, it will be monthly blood tests to insure all is well.
The weekly dose is taken over the course of 24 hours on the day of my choosing (I think Saturday afternoon will be good – get in a good ride first). The rest of the week I’ll take a folic acid suppliment on the days I’m not taking the chemo…
