Well, today was the first day open to non Cascade Bicycle club members to register for this year’s Seattle to Portland. I registered!
Booking a hotel room for that time (10-11 July) has been a little problematic as most of the hotels in the area have already sold out rooms for the 10th of July.
I called the hotel we stayed at last year (the Silver Cloud Inn) and they have a 2 night minimum stay. Talked it over with Ellen and we are going to have a nice “mini-vaction”! From the 9th through the morning of the 11th of July we’ll be enjoying the sights and sounds of Seattle – should be fun!
Timely post. I did forget about lodging in Portland for the night after I finish the STP. I spoke to my wife and we will also stay a few nights in Portland, we used to live down there and want to explore a bit to see the changes.
