When will the left of this country learn? The negative rumor mongering against Governor Palin will only blow up in their faces.
Gov. Palin is an accomplished woman - a wife, mom of 5, 2 term mayor, current governor of Alaska. I am proud of her and what she brings to the public arena of ideas - I’m proud to be called a Rebublican again!
From what I have seen of her record, she does the best she can with what she has - not taking from government. If she has a problem, or see’s a need, she steps up! Lives what she says she believes in - to me that shows character.
Sarah Palin is the “every woman”, a daughter, a wife, a mom, an aunt, a grandma (gesh, makes me feel old - I’m a year younger than Sarah, and I too have 5 kids).
To disparage her is to insult these women in my life - as a brother, husband, father, uncle, I’ll fight for her and with her; for what she represents is the America I know and love that has been pilloried by the left for far too long.
I take her at her word that she’ll work to keep taxes low, increase America’s energy production, work at limiting government’s role in our lives.
Just as I take Barak Obama’s word that he’ll work to raise taxes, limit America’s energy production, increase the role government plays in our lives.
For me, I want less government, lower taxes, greater energy production and the Rebublican ticket looks to be the one to deliver.
Regardless of my diferences with John McCain, his very act of selecting someone of the caliber such as Governor Palin for VP shows that he is willing to work with his conservative base. For this he has earned my respect and support!
