I reached my goal of 2000 miles ridden before my next Seattle to Portland. Something about reaching this goal that seems to make the STP more obtainable.
Last week I ordered Oregon Scientific’s new “action camera” called the ACT3k. This camera loks like the ATC2K on the outside, but has a wider angle lens and can use bigger SD cards (4gb versus 2gb that the ATC2K is limited to). This bigger memory allows for longer movies and allows me to record most of my rides that are 3 hours or less (usually less than 50 miles). I’ll have to learn video editing to shorten my raw video to something more interesting. Until such time, here is the first of many “raw video from a trike’s perspective”:
