Need to get ready for a century ride this week, so I felt like doing an hour of intervals tonight. Listened to this weeks podcast from PodRunner: Relayered 158 bpm (79rpm).
With intervals, I will keep the same RPM, but gear up or down depending on the resistance I want (simulates hill work). During the year as I get stronger, I find that I am able to ride longer distances outside without to much problem.
The weather looks to be questionable tomorrow, but I think I’ll chance it – there is the Pioneer Century in the morning and it looks to be a fun ride, the plus side is that it is close by (Canby Oregon). It starts at 7:00am so I better head off to bed (and not sleep in like last Saturday!)
