Went out for a century ride this morning, I wanted to be done before the expected heatwave… I didn’t make it. I rode to Hagg lake (about 50 miles) then made my way to Willamette Mission state park (another 50 miles). The heat started to get to me while riding into St. Paul on my way to Willamette Mission so decided that it would be best to finish early. My milage for today was 78 miles - not bad really, considering the heat.

The great thing about living in rural Oregon is the many great areas to ride. To night I did someting different - rode to Hagg lake after work! The beauty to summer - longer days.
My ride was 51 miles and took just over 2 hours 50 minutes. At this pace I’m sure my Seattle to Portland ride on the 12th of July will be a great one!
I started my WordPress blog in March of 2008, not thinking about bringing over my old Tagworld content. After writing in my blog for serveral months I now feel that having the “back story” would make crazytrike.com more interesting. As I began digging through my old TagWorld site, looking through were I’ve been it is interesting to see my progress over the years. Once I have all of my Tag entries copied over, I think the two plus years of blogging will speak for themselves. So far I have April of 2007 through January 2008 entered. I still have entries to go back to when I started my Tagworld site in December of 2005. I averaged at least an entry a week (if not more) and have more to do. This project has been very interesting by far!
I have another blog - remnants of the former “Tagworld” - that I will bring over to here. I’ve done some testing and there really isn’t an easy way to convert the data. It looks like I’ll have to do a lot of “cut and paste” and picture transfers to get everything over. Luckily, I have 90% of my photos here already. I’ll have to recreate the posts and such. It’s always good to stay busy!
