I finally put on my new chain Wednesday (ordered three SRAM PC-991 hollowpin chains last week). My trike is much quieter!
Looking back over my blog, it looks like I’m getting about a season out of the chain or about 4000 miles.
The hollowpin chain is a more “expensive”, but is a weight saver – you get what you pay for… given that I have to use almost three “normal” chains on my trike, I’ll pay the premium.
