We live in a free country, that being said, if we as a people will not stand for our own freedoms by taking the fight to those who want our country’s values dead, we do not deserve those freedoms!
Those who think the fighting in Iraq is a “quagmire” you know nothing of history…
Yes, it is a difficult situation, yes, people are fighting and dying – the key point being “over there”.
Unlike another conflict some want to compare Iraq to, those who fight us “over there” will follow us back home if we leave (there are islamofacist cells in our country now!)
Personally, I do not want my way of life disrupted by some islamofacist blowing himself up in my neighborhood, my state, or my country!
There is a reason we haven’t has another “9/11″ in almost 6 years – instead of treating that terrible day as a “police action”, we took the fight to those who would do us harm (notice I did not say “did us harm”).
