Who says a battery is a battery is a battery…
With my Polar S720i’s sensors, it appears that one brand out performs the others. The last few battery changes, the Sony brand of button battery (size 2032) have been the most successful.
Before this last battery change, I used a Maxell 2032 and it didn’t perform well – my monitor was showing 0 mph while I’m pedalling away… ARGH! especially knowing what a pain it is to change the batteries (mind you, they are supposed to last 250-300 hours NOT 30 minutes!)
That didn’t go well, so I purchased a Sony 2032, repalced the battery YET again, and so far my ride data is being collected with little problems…
