Vote…

Next Tuesday will be an election to remember. Some I’ve heard say that it will be a referendum on President Bush and the Republicans…

True, it could very well be, however, I am fed up with the Republicans! Does this mean I will stay home and not vote (or worse, vote Democrat)? Not on your life!

I dispise RINOs (Republican in name only), however, the primary is the place to change riders, not during the general election!

For me, a return to Democrat rule just means increased burden on my family and my way of life, and a less secure homefront  - not worth it to me. I’ll deal with the RINOs thank you very much.

Key things on my mind:

1) My taxes are lower - no doubt they will go up if Democrats have thier way

2) Our economy is quite resilient, despite 9/11 and Katrina, especially with the right tax incentives, however, given the history of the Democrats, things would be much worse under their control

3) Concerning 9/11, has the US been attacked since (on the home land)?

4) Freedom isn’t free, it is worth fighting and dying for - even for those who currently don’t have it

5) Imagining Democrats in power now, do I want that in my life?

What to do…

Ok, fall is here and the weather in Oregon is about to get far more predicable with endless dark clouds and rainy days.

Just cleaned out the garage today with my wife - making room for our “tour de garage” in the coming weeks. I’ll have to move the tele and the dvd player back to its home “away from home” in preparation for my stationary riding sessions.

Riding in September and October has been non existent , the break has been well needed. Looking forward to riding again! (Almost at 4000 miles for the year - 800 miles to go)
