During my most recent rides, I have been noticing that my speeds being very erratic – going from a pace of 18mph to 0mph (and stopping my timer) back up to 12mph, basically all over the place…
Last night I changed the battery in hopes of fixing the problem, unfortunately, I dropped the speed sensor.
After removing the battery cover, and inspecting the transmitter, the ferrous core had broken, rendering the sensor usless.
So today my riding is put off for a couple of hours so I can search for a local source to replace the sensor. If I’m unsuccessful, I’ll put in a ride without monitoring speed and cadence anyway…
